Be consistent with your Russell terrier training techniques – Don’t change the method in which you give commands to your dog, because it will cause confusion and he will not understand. For instance, don’t change the words you use when you give a command. Moreover, remind everybody in the family to use the same commands that your Jack learned.

Firm Discipline – When you discipline your Jack, you have to show him that your firm but remember to stay gentle.
